RAO/CIS Offshore is the event with more than twenty five-year history

From September 21 — 24, 2021 St. Petersburg will host the 15th International Conference and Exhibition on Oil and Gas Resources Development of the Arctic and Continental Shelf — RAO/CIS Offshore. The event is organized in accordance with the Order of the Government of the Russian Federation on a biennial basis

RAO/CIS Offshore is the event with more than twenty five-year history pioneered by leading Russian scientists and the world’s largest oil & gas companies. RAO/CIS Offshore was commenced by the Government of the Russian Federation in 1993 and gained international recognition along with the events of similar subject in Aberdeen, Stavanger, Houston and Baku. Now it is one of the key industry events of global scale.

During its history RAO/CIS Offshore promoted acceptance of important technological, economic and political decisions for Russian Shelf sustainable development.

RAO/CIS Offshore exhibition will present technological novelties and equipment for hydrocarbons offshore field exploitation, development plans for fields in Arctic Region and continental shelf, safety products. Exhibition will be available for professionals of all sectors of economy as everything is necessary for Arctic oil and gas resources development — starting with food products to sophisticated space systems which maintenance communication with Northern Sea Route.

The main issues of the conference program are hydrocarbon resources development and continental shelf, share of Russia in GNC world market, offshore oil and gas equipment production and fleet formation for oil and gas fields development, Arctic oil and gas sea transport, atomic energy industry for continental shelf hydrocarbons extraction, ecological and industrial security and rules and regulations development for Arctic oil and gas resources development.

Special events will be traditionally held within the framework of RAO/CIS Offshore Youth Forum on promising research development of young scientists and students as well as personnel training for offshore oil and gas production, Competition among scientific, scientific-technical and innovative solutions focused on development and reclaiming of Arctic region and continental shelf with support of Minenergo of Russia.

RAO/CIS Offshore 2021 will be attended by over 600 delegates representing leading Russian and foreign energy and oil and gas companies, scientific and educational institutions, including Gazprom, NOVATEK, Rosneft Oil Company, EMERCOM of Russia, Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation, Atomflot, United Shipbuilding Corporation, Transneft, Chernomorneftegaz, Kurchatov Institute — Central Research Institute KM "Prometey", Baltic Shipyard, Gazprom Flot, Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute, MAGE, Sevmash, Gazprom VNIIGAZ, TMK, Severstal, Lazurit Central Design Bureau, Coral Central Design Bureau, and many more.
