January 5, 2025, the Russian goverment issued a decree "On holding International Exhibition and Conference for offshore oil & gas resources development of the Russian Arctic and continental shelf RAO/CIS Offshore 2025"
Co-chairs of the Organizing Committee Mikhail KOVALCHUK (president of Kurchatov Institute), Alexey MILLER (chair of the Gazprom Management Committee), and Sergey CHERNYSHEV (vice president of the Russian Academy of Sciences, academician) decided to dedicate the RAO/CIS Offshore 2025 forum to the memory of Evgeny Velikhov.
