Gazprom VNIIGAZ LLC is a 100% subsidiary of Gazprom PJSC, a research center for development and design of technology for the gas industry including exploration and development of gas fields, development of offshore oil and gas resources, gas processing and field treatment; regulatory support, design, and operation of the gas transportation and underground storage systems; environmental safety, and energy efficiency. Gazprom VNIIGAZ LLC has developed, deployed, and certified the Integrated Management System. The Institute’s important feature laid down from the moment of its creation (1948) is an integrated approach to solving problems.
The Institute has more than 2,500 employees, of whom more than 320 people have academic degrees. Gazprom VNIIGAZ has 37 research centers. VNIIGAZ is represented in 11 cities: Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Tyumen, Kazan, Innopolis, Stavropol, Omsk, Makhachkala, Lensk, Orenburg, and Ukhta.
